Site Changes & Feature Updates

Well it sure has been a while since I've posted on the blog. After some arm twisting and head clubbing, Dan has convinced me I should update you all on what we've been up to @ dexrex.com.

Grouping & Tagging

You can find this feature on the conversation browsing page @ dexrex.com (if you're logged in). Utilizing this you can group your contacts into simple, easy-to-manage "buckets" for easy viewing/sorting of convos. We've been using it here since its release and some of the common groups we use are Work, Friends, or Work & Friends if you're from Dexrex, Family, etc... This feature has some great utility and anyone with more than a few contacts will definitely find a use for it.

Spam!!!

Since the inception of Dexrex for Blackberry and the advent of the AIM Crush virus, more and more user's have had issues managing spam contacts in their Dexrex accounts. Our spam feature lets you mark any of your contacts as spam, which means they stop coming up in your contact list and in you conversation searches. Instead, they are put in their own quarantine zone which you don't ever need to see if you don't want to. FAQ Support here

Referrals

We set up a referral system for those of you who think Dexrex is the best thing since sliced bread and want EVERYONE to know. (If you do, we won't be mad. I promise). You can find referrals on the right hand side of our member home page, if you happen to be one of those users

UI Changes & Enhancements

We're constantly trying to improve the experience users have on our site. With that in mind, I can't actually list all of the things we've done because, well, its a lot! But, I can shoot off a list of the ones I think help the most -
